Tropical Fish Auction hosted by the South Jersey Guppy Group
Where do you find the type of tropical fish that keep you staring at your tanks because you are mesmerized by their beauty? They usually aren't found in the big box stores. True hobbyists lovingly raise their favorite species and share them through club auctions. On Sunday, May 21st, the South Jersey Guppy Group will be hosting an all species auction where we will be selling our fancy guppies which have been bred to the International Fancy Guppy Association standards. We are also inviting breeders of many other species of tropical fish from other aquarium clubs in the tri-state area. This is your opportunity to purchase high-quality livestock!
Whether you are looking to buy or sell, please join us for an afternoon of fish, a little food, and lots of fun!
Free admission and parking.
Bidders cards = $ 5
Doors will open at 9 am and the auction will begin promptly at noon.
Viewing is from 11 am - noon. Viewing is not allowed during the auction.

About the South Jersey Guppy Group...
The South Jersey Guppy Group is the oldest and largest guppy club on the eastern seaboard. The club first started meeting in 1970 as a splinter group from the South Jersey Tropical Fish Society.. SJGG is an organization of approximately 50 members who have many years of experience in maintaining, breeding, and producing show winning guppies.
We are an International Fancy Guppy Association club. Our mission is to breed guppies to the IFGA standard and to help others do the same. We test our skills through monthly bowl shows and entering our fish in IFGA shows across the United States. SJGG hosts our own biennial (once every two years) IFGA shows.
Our monthly guppy meetings bring together members from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York & Maryland. Each meeting we enjoy a bowl show, presentation, raffle & auction. Members share old and new ideas on all aspects of breeding the fancy guppy.
Our meeting year begins in September and dues are collected at that time. Membership is $20 annually. Meetings are held on the third Sunday of the month unless a holiday falls on that date. Meetings officially begin at 1:30 pm but most members arrive between 1-1:15 pm to help with setup and to enter fish in the bowl show. We do not meet in July and August. The remainder of the 2016 - 2017 meetings are March 19, April 23, May 21 (our all species auction), and June 25. The location for our meetings is the Griggstown Volunteer Fire Company 1037 Canal Road Princeton, New Jersey 08540
